Everyone dreamed at least once of having a sixpack and im not talking about the first sixpack of beer, which got bought from a teenager with a fake ID. No im talking about our abs! In The following text ill point out 3 tips to reach your sixpack! At the bottom line you'll find a small video of me performing two plank routines which helped me to get solid abs!
- Body fat percentage
Maybe you heard that quote already „Abs are made in the kitchen“ Thats totally right. You need to lower your body fat percentage to see your abs! For men you can say that you can see slowly the abs at a body fat percentage of 13%.
- Don't overload your trainingsplan!
There are plenties of exercises for our abs. All you need is to focus on a small amount of exercises for the abs and that you train the abs consitently. If you have 1-2 exercises for the upper area, lower area and for the sides than you are good to go!
- Core needed?
YES! I prefer core exercises over the standard abs exercises. The reason is that you can train your deeply located muscles in your stomache and through that your sixpack will be pushed more to the front. The benefits are that your abs will be earlier visible and they look more dominant. In the video you'll find 2 plank routines which will strengthen your core and making your abs visible.
Keep in mind
Elbows and shoulders in one line
Keep the tension in your body ( hold the butt not too high or too low)
