I'm sending 2 people to Steemfest2 this year, one man and one woman. This contest is open to all minnows. My contest is titled, What's Your Vision To Change The World?

Please make sure and use the tags: steemfeststella, minnowsupport, steemfest.
If you don't use the steemfeststella tag, I won't be able to find your entry.
If you know of a very deserving Steemian Minnow, feel free to list them in the comments.
So, there will be two categories: one for women, and one for men.If you are intersex or don't identify as either male or female, just choose one category arbitrarily. This is not meant to be exclusionary, on the contrary, it was meant to include everyone.
Thanks to @aggroed who subconsciously planted the idea in my mind to do this. I'll be getting some other judges to help make the decision for the winners.

I'm a brand new Steemian so I'm not sure yet about the jargon and whether that even makes me a minnow! However my first posts strangely enough concern my travels in Portugal, and now I've discovered SteemFest will be in Lisbon - karma? For the winners of your contest, or anyone else travelling to Lisbon, my posts might not be specific enough about the city, but they will provide some general information, for example about language or train travel, and who knows may encourage some SteemFest participants to travel to other parts of Portugal. Good luck with your contest and with SteemFest!
This is one of the best initiatives that i have ever encountered, reading the script even gave me goosebumps. I see your initiative @stellabelle as a motivation for people who motivates other people, God bless you but its rather unfortunate that we cant follow your criteria for some us to qualify for this trip but we will try and change the world as much as we can in our own simple way and i know that one day i would make enough to be able to qualify for these criteria
I am not here to enter the competition, but would love to see a winner who's life could be changed by this. Ideally someone who doesn't have the funds to go to Lisbon and by going now gets the change to learn how Steemit works and then will be able to grow a sustainable income on Steemit. What is your current definition of "minnow"?
Is 1.000SP too much to be a minnow?
Or is it 10,000SP or any other number of Steem Powers?
I am not sure. If one believes that one is honestly a minnow, then that counts. What's the definition on steemwhales? maybe someone can help with defining minnowhood.
As I understand it, a minnow has more than 1 million vests but less than 10 million vests.

1 million vests is a little more than 2,000 SP.
Do you mean that anybody with less than 2,000 SP is not a minnow? Not in my book.

Yes, you are correct. For some reason I made an incorrect division (1,000,000 / 483.5).
So, minnow is between 1M and 10M vests and plankton is below 1M vests.
I doubt that @stellabelle wants to prevent people with less than 1M vest to participate in the contest.
Probably true. But it's of course up to her to decide on the parameters.
I would recommend that we have more categories than just whale and minnow. I suggested maxnow but it sounds a bit weird. Maybe for now we can just go with your average value of your posts after about 5 hours: minnow less than 2 USD, small fish 2-7 USD, big fish 7-20 USD, baby whale20 - 50 USD, whale 50 USD and more

Not all of them are minnows, but most of them (or maybe most are Planktons...hmmm).
Some people aren't sure about their gender, so at least you got that one down. Lol. :)
