RE: SteemFest 4: The Bits I Missed

Looks like you had a few adventures and got to sample some of the local culture. From what I have seen it seems to have been a bit of a different mood to previous events, but I'm sure a lot of good discussions came out of it. You are brave to even attempt urbex there

Sort:

I had a few solo walks, some of these @goblinknackers was with me, but he went off and did his own thing quite often.

I try and notice things other people don't. It looks like a 3rd world country at times but you feel kind of safe.

The wiring gives it away.. if there's rats nests just above were your walking in the streets you can bet it's a developing country.

I've seen dodgy wiring in places like Spain too. We Brits have it pretty good despite what people say to put our country down. I've wandered around various foreign cities and generally felt safe. Nearest I've come to trouble was in Miami where some guy made mild threats to get money from me. No harm done. Also had some dodgy bloke in Rome trying to sell us leather jackets from his car. Maybe potential for some true stories.

True stories seem to be going down well, not everyone wants to open up about their lives publicly. They make for interesting reading.
