I knoooow I'm one day late, but if you can let it slide, here is my entry! I have also made this entry in another Steemfest contest. I don't see it mentioned in the rules, but figured I'd let you know either way!
First of the bat, I would like to say thank you to everyone who is organizing these contests. They might give me a shot to attend Steemfest!
I think you can find all relevant information on my entry in my post: https://steemit.com/steemfest/@martibis/steemfest-here-i-come
TL:DR: I came into steemit, fell in love with the community, created Steemit Worldmap, saw a post hitchhiking to Steemfest, I'm joining up on the hitchhiking adventure and hopefully for Steemfest itself too!
Wow that sounds Awesome!
I have hitchhiked a lot in my day (hopefully done with it now) but it is a powerful learning experience and a VERY sustainable way to travel!
SteemOn to SteemFest!
Does this mean I'm still eligible for the contest, haha?!
Awesome, where did you end up hitchhiking mostly? I went on some amazing hitchhiking trips myself, and probably will go on quite a few more! I think my most remarkable hitchhiking feat has to be going from Miami to San Francisco hitchhiking all the way!
Mostly hitchhiked in the states but have also in central america, south america, scotland and probably other places also. I have been all over the world.
Oh man, I want to go to Central America again now, haha!
Used to live in Costa Rica for 6 months, those were the days, haha!
Well not to clutter up this comment section, but what would be your favorite place in South America if you had to pick one? Really want to make it there soon rather than late!
EDIT: martibis here (keep switching accounts and being on the move, second time I'm posting from the wrong account today, haha!)
Costa Rica is amazing, though its in central america. As to south america I like Ecuador or Columbia the best.
Yeah, that tiny country is doing so many things right, a lot of countries could learn from them in my opinion!
Two more countries to add to my list of "must go to", haha!
Indeed!
