It's not about boobs on steemit, at least not as much as it would be on other social medias like Instagram and Facebook. And that's the reason I truly believe this place can be amazing and overcome any other social medias out there. I would love to see Steemit as the first REAL social media platform where beautiful people are getting upvotes for their content rather than their bodies.

The reason why women are getting upvotes is to be a more inclusive and diverse community. The majority of people in crypto are men, the majority of traders are men. If this is going to go mainstream there need to be a critical mass of users... and that means women too. It might look contrived at first, but I'm sure it'll work itself out.

Well... even though I would love that to be a fact, it's actually not. Just take a look at instagram or facebook. How many "hot chicks" have you seen with 4,000+ friends and 2300+ followers? .. Perhaps a bunch. Probably more than a handful. How many of these have shared a photo in a bikini or whatever..? Probably most of them. How many likes did that photo have? .. A couple of thousands. Right?

However, I do find that extremely hard to believe, as that would be something very rare.
