Is it possible to post a Story thourgh API and also upvote through API

I was wondering, is it possible today, to use the API and submit a Story ? Also is it possible to upvote ?

If anyone knows, then please share some examples.

So far my finding is that, except the API docs, all the references are pretty old, so I m not going to even waste time trying them out. I am investigating the API to see what best we can do.
