Hello @paulag my name is Afolayan Stephen and an relatively still new to Steemit but learning everyday. I love the way you have articulated this post to deliver the most information. My opinion is on the 50/50 payout option or 100% power up which you chose the later. I read also in an article here on steemit that the 50/50 default payment option is actually more profitable than the 100% power up and the article backed it up with a mathematical formula to present the facts.
