RE: SteemPlus Minnow Upvote Proposal : Upvoting high quality minnow posts based on Utopian model

in #steemdev7 years ago

If this start many minnows that will usually give up after few posts will not give up if they here and there receive 10$ upvote. In my opinion good idea. Have two questions:

Are there gonna be specific topics that some moderators will run or any moderator can decide about every post? If any moderator can decide about any subject. that is tricky situation. For example someone can be against some subject in general and almost without reading article downvote it.

What is ratio between upvotes and 'downvotes' should be to post receive 10$ upvote?

Sort:
  1. Moderators will have rules to follow, like in Utopian.
  2. Depends on the number of users having their contributions accepted.

Didn't read Utopian rules, so got to ask. If someone downvote post, he should explain in details why he downvoted it, not just say something like 'It's debunked.'? In my opinion there are some controversial topics and explaining of downvote will be gray area.

I never talked about downvotes. Simply accepting a post or not.

When I say downvote, I mean on not accepting it. Didn't know what word to use.
