Is there any way to strip out bots from the new users too. I have noticed votes on some posts that start user1 user2 user3 user4 ...
To me that looks like a fake account set up for bots too. If these are included in the new accounts it would also skew that metric.

I have just spent the morning trying to scrape data from steemdb.com so I am delighted I saw this post now before I spent any more time on it :)
