There has been a mini-explosion of new Steemit users here in Niigata City, Japan, and the surrounding area.
This account will serve as a support, networking, resteem and posting hub for Niigata Steemians.
Details and General Rules for Use:
Once this account is fully functional, any Niigata-based Steemian can use the posting key to create posts, signing their name to their own respective posts. Posting key will be released next post.
Liquid rewards will be distributed weekly based on proportion of SP vests in the account. SP ownership will be based on proportion of SP vests from Niigata Steemian’s independent account, and not based on awards garnered from posts.
For example, whatever SP this post makes, as soon as initial cost is recouped and another Steemian invests, will be owned according to proportion of independent vests. If there are any questions regarding this. Let me know in the

Currently @kafkanarchy84 has incurred the account creation cost (Anon Steem). When a new Niigata Steemian invests, this will reset after initial account creation cost is recouped (23 USD) and awards will be paid weekly according to the proportion of each respective Niigata Steemian’s vest.

This is a cool project you are aiming for integration of a community based steemit network for local news. This might a cool way of distributing local information using a new means of networking good job worth a follow ^^.

Interesting project! I like this idea a lot, but I would not be too sure about releasing the Posting Key in public; I fear that it will be abused for spam, upvotes etc. If it were me, I would rather give it privately away to people you know are from the area :) Anyway, good luck!

Great to hear you are interested. I think this could become a really powerful tool for all of us. If you are interested in investing, you would just make a transfer to this account, and write a memo like "1st investment" and the date in the memo field. Then the account would power that vested Steem up into SP, and your proportion of the vested Steem (which would then be 100%) would determine your payout of the liquid rewards (SBD) every 7 days.
The great thing about blockchain is that all the data and numbers are viewable by all members and can be audited in that way.

Yeah, it would be really cool if a lot of different communities did this! It will most likely be more of these types of accounts after the next hardfork when it becomes easier to create accounts.
