Genesis 26: 73 (NKJV) ”The man began to prosper, and continued prospering untilhe became very prosperous."
Prosperity is one interesting topic to consider as Christians. Prosperity means progress, increase or breaking forth into greatness in a particular aspect of life whether it's financial or spiritual. Prosperity is when great things are happening without too much hardwork just like a fountain. A fountain is self-pressured and requires no drawing out like a well for water to come out. When God causes a man to prosper,it is does not require human struggle. God-kind of prosperity causes us to abound in greatness, favour, progress, grace and that is the true meaning of prosperity. When we begin to struggle, then it is not prosperity any longer like going helter skelter, sweating and worrying over a thing then it is not prosperity. Nevertheless, hardwork and diligence in work is very important for prosperity. God can only bless someone on a job and an idle person. It us the grace of God that makes a man's life look easy. Also Christ has redeemed us from hardship and every curse and we are bound to grow in prosperity.
The Bible tells us of Isaac, the covenant son of father Abraham, who was a partaker of the blessing of Abraham; that he began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous. Another version of the Bible verse tells us that he waxed great, and'went forward, and grew until he became very great. We are also children of Abraham and Galatians 3:28-29
There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male [b]and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.
The passage above tells us that everyone of us that is in Christ becomes Abraham's seed and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Therefore we would also enjoy promises made to Abraham . We ought to abound in God's goodness and begin to prosper. Prosperity is God's will and purpose on our life and He wants us to continue to prosper until we become very prosperous.

God made his intentions clear as the Isrealites prepared to enter the Promised Land, He promised to make them “abound in prosperity.” He would protect them and meet their needs. The promise extends to us if we remain in his love.
