STEEMCHURCH - THE PURPOSE OF HIS DEATH

WALKING IN CHRIST'S LOVE

Good morning steemians, hope we are carefully observing the death of Christ and it's significance.
As it today is known to be good Friday, I want to quickly enlightn us all on the quanlity of Love Christ has for us.
Christ been the only begotten son of God came in human form to dwell among men. It has come to my notice that people suffer today because there's no Love. The Rich getting Richer and the poor getting poorer.
Apostle Paul said

though I speak the tongue of men and angels but if I do not have charity, it's nothing. If I have faith that can move mountains and there's no love, it's all nothing.

Christ possessed enormous love towards us, while we were yet sinners, He loved us and died for our sins. What manner of Love He has for us.

Th significance of of Christ death is for us to acknowledge the purpose of His death.

How do we intend to do this?
The best way we can do this is by imbibing the kind of love Christ showed us, and showing love to one another, but we must first of all Release ourself to Him, letting Him be in us, then we shall possess His kind of Love.

1 Corinthians 13
[13]And so faith, hope, love abide [faith–conviction and belief respecting man's relation to God and divine things; hope–joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love–true affection for God and man, growing out of God's love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Jesus Christ came to this world, a king that came to dwell among men. The image of the invisible God, the first born of all creations. The humble son of God becoming a living sacrifice. He demonstrated humility, power, peace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and above all LOVE.

His love for man kind is incomparable and unending. He gave up His precious life just for our sins, he was blemishless, no fault, no crime, yet he was beaten batter shattered just to free us from the bondage of sin.
He gave us liberty from sin, His death brought about our dominion over sin.

His love was unconditional, no price to pay. He carried the cross which signifies the burden of our sins, in pain and in agony, he was beaten for our sake, by these stripes He received we were healed and made whole. One man carrying sins, pains and all the blames for the whole world.

The painful of it is that we still do not regard Him. Put yourself in His shoes, how will u feel when people do not regard you even after sacrificing your life for them.

JESUS LOVES YOU,HE LOVES ME, AND HE LOVES US. He is the reason for the season.

Christ's death brought victory to us. Thank God for Jesus.

Th significance of Christ death is for us to acknowledge the purpose of His death - which is for us to turn away from evil and return to him as the author and finisher of our faith.

Once again this is a wonderful piece a reminder that we have eternal life through Jesus God's son showing that we are more than conquerors that the devil has been completely defeated
God's love for mankind was agappe that's a Greek word meaning unconditional no matter what you have done his love is ever present. He loved us not because we first loved him.

Thanks for sharing this with us, he paid the ransom because of the love he has for us, God is love

He died to save us from sin.
