1 Peter 3:8-9 KJV
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: [9] Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
Honey, as have become saints, we must learn to be there for one another and to be of the same mind. Being of the same mind is very rare quality amongst brethren. We are too divided in our mind, everybody with his own agenda.
How can we serve one another when everyone is so busy pursuing his or own agenda at the expense of others. Most Church members are merely there just to get their needs met,to get connection, to seek for leadership position and all forms of selfish ambition.
Who is really there to serve another? W' have all become self seeking. Dear, serving one another breeds love and unity in the Church. It keeps the Church like a family that stays together. It makes us faithful to one another.
Now, every slight provocation or opportunity; we move from church to Church. Not because we seek to improve on our relationship with God, but to pursue our selfish interest. We only seek how the Church can be a blessing to us, without being a blessing to her.
It has become so pathetic that we have so reduce "churchianity" to individuality and not a family, who, though; may offend one another, however; stays together. When you are offended in church A, you now move to Church B and from B to C when offence also comes.

It is no longer Christ that is the motivating factor how to uphold and strengthen your love with Christ, but crisis motivation — a place that favours your personal interest without no one offending you.
Attendance to Church is now a gain thing: ....... Having men's persons in admiration because of advantage Jude 16. This is now the drive. Who is now a genuine and faithful worker in God's vineyard? Aren't you looking for your share or your gain for service?
Is it not what you can profit from the Church that is now your drive? Why is your heart far so far from others? Why are you not of the same mind with others? Why are you so self-centred? Who do you care less about others and more about you? Why are you with us in the flesh and not with us in the spirit?
Why is your heart so deceptive? Why do you pretend as though you have a family? Why can't we have the same mind? Why can't we as brethren of a local denomination, pursue the same agenda?

Why can't we love and serve one another fervently? Why is it that what we think differs from what we say? What is happening to the body of Christ? Why do we have so many traitors than compatriots?
It seems as though the Church has more questions than answers.
And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:(Galatians 2:4 KJV)
It has been said: 1 John 3:18 KJV
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth
Hmmm! This is quite instructional. It follow that there must be a synergy between what we say and what do. We don't just talk love, we act love.
And in acting love, it must be in truth — with all sincerity: Let love be without dissimulation. (Romans 12:9a.)Let all your things be done with charity.(1 Corinthians 16:14)this is because charity is the bond of perfection(colossians 3:14)
Sweetie, this was in no wise different from what was displayed by Jonathan towards David. It is worth emulating:
1 Samuel 23:16-18 KJV
And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God. [17] And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth. [18] And they two made a covenant before the Lord : and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
Hmmm! What a word! One would have necessary thought that Jonathan, who was heir to his father's throne, would guard the throne jealously and even defend his inheritance with his life.
However, that was not the case. He simply relinquished his right to the throne upon discovery that God had willed the throne to David his friend. I thought that the enmity of Saul towards David would have been little compared with that of Jonathan towards David, who was directly an encumbrance or a threat to his (Jonathan's enthronement).
How can he just allow his friend to claim his very own inheritance without any form of resistance? Hmmm! This was in view that he came to understand that the Will of God to the throne was sovereign and outweighs his right to the throne.

See, he had all the reasons and chances to slaughter David, however; he concludes: ..fear not: for my father shall not find thee,'and thou shalt be kind Israel', and I shall be next unto thee....
Hmmm! What a selfless word from a selfless man! He placed his right to the throne subservient or subject to the David, to whom God willed the throne unto. Hmmm! This is fascinating! He relinquished his destiny for the benefit of his friend, who happened to be God's choice for the throne.
Hmmm! He did not So submit as a result of conquest or promise and not just because it is the will of God (for ha got a choice and several opportunities to resist it), for he loved him as he loved his own soul.(1 Samuel 20:17)
Hmmm! Do we still have brethren like this in the Church? Do we still have men who will lay down their treasures for the benefit of others? Do we have men who can sacrifice for others even without gain? Oh Lord!
Where are the Jonathans of this generation?
Where are those who will love others as their own soul? Where are those who will aggregate their interest to sponsor God's agenda? Oh Lord! Give us again those, who will pursue your Will even to their detriment: And those that will allow your Will
and agenda to override their ambition. Help us Jesus!

Christ humbled Himself to wash the feet of His disciples, that was a standard. For us to serve one another, we need to take away pride aand be humble like Jesus. Placing others before self
it is important that we share in love even as God is Love.

beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love, —so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about— not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’'ve done to our relationship with God
Unconditional Love, only comes from God and the love God offers, is the only thing that can truly fill the void in our lives
The “I just know and feel like there’s something missing in my life” void that everyone has, but not everyone is willing to admit!.
As children of God, we must emulate the love of Christ just Like apostle Paul has always admonished the church of God, by so doing, we are being an example of enviable love and followership to the world
"Through love serve one another" (Galatians 5:13). That phrase from the Bible is food for thought, especially when you consider that the Greek word translated here as "serve" is douleuo, which means "to be a slave to." So to serve one another in love is to be a slave to one another in love, to yield to, to obey, to do someone's bidding, and to do so in love.
I am always moved by the ost you make sister, we must promote Jesus, and continue with his commandments, as helping the neighbor from a sincere feeling that comes out of our hearts,
AMEN, elemental to be a servant, with love, doing all things as if they were for God. Blessings.
Divided we fall. And together we stand.
In [ 1 Cor. 13 ] the apostle sets forth the excellency of love, as the word "charity".
When our Lord says, "Lovest thou me?" he uses the Greek word agapas; and when Simon answers, he uses the Greek word philo, i.e., "I love." This is the usage in the first and second questions put by our Lord; but in the third our Lord uses Simon's word.
Amazing write-up @tikhub.
Learn to serve!
And if we're bearing in mind this "through love serve one another" principle, we're of course not going to ask others to do anything that is hurtful or harmful. Whether we're doing the serving or others are serving us, it's all going to be loving and we're all going to benefit. What we ask of others may sometimes be a sacrifice for them, but by the same token, we will be serving them too and sometimes sacrificing for them, so it will be a two-way street.
wow great post thanks for sharing with us all
Our relationships with our neighbours is important as much as our personal relationships with God, when we treat our neighbours well and have their best interests in our hearts as much as we love ourselves, it pleases God because he said we should love our neighbours as we love ourselves. When we care for one another this way, the world will be a better place.
Great post
God is Love and his followers are meant to be sons and daughters of Love.It is no longer Christ that is the motivating factor how to uphold and strengthen your love with Christ, but crisis motivation — a place that favours your personal interest without no one offending you.

It is a beautiful story of friendship between David and Jonathan. Their hearts were knit together! A healthy Christian is one walking in love.
