A wise man, said that our way of thinking is frozen and we are always traveling the same paths, because the mind is fixed to the things we think. Nowadays this phenomenon is known as "paradigm".
Christian Reflections - Fix the Look
Fix the look
Let's imagine that we ride a bicycle on a road: the fresh air hitting our faces; the trees, the clouds, the nature, the birds, the distant mountains ... Imagine that suddenly we see a big stone in the middle of the road.
If we fix our attention on the stone - that is, on the obstacle - even if it only occupies a short space on the road, we will end up colliding with it.
Think how many times we discovered an obstacle in the road and, assuming it as if it were the only thing, we make all the other options disappear (the trees, the clouds, the rest of the way), heading irremediably towards it, towards the stone.
Let's not allow today that obstacles divert our attention and make us believe that there is no way out, there are always opportunities that come with them.
Romans 8:28 "And we know that those who love God, all things work together for good."
Hebrews 9:15
And for that reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that having taken place a death for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
1 Peter 2: 9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired for the possession of God, so that you may proclaim the virtues of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
1 Peter 3: 9
not returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but rather blessing, because you were called with the purpose of inheriting blessing.
