We also thank our father in the Lord @sirknight for his continuous support into making sure the church grow from strength to strength. We were so happy when we heard about a new branch to be established in the Philippines. Glory be to God for this great work.
Now our number is increasing and we are expanding too. The number of parishioners we have as church are not all that important but our devotion or commitment. One of the things which accounted for the growth of the early church was their devotion.
The believers continued to devote themselves to what the apostles were teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to times of prayer.Acts 2:42
For us to be united in purpose and to ensure a continual growth and expansion of the church we need to practice what the early believers did.
The Bible says that they did four things:
The devoted themselves to teachings
They devoted themselves to fellowship
They devoted themselves to the breaking of bread
They devoted themselves to prayer

The early believers were so concerned about knowing the Holy Scriptures and so they were diligent and were constant listeners of the Apostles messages and also the preaching of the Gospel. They were willing to be taught. As members of the Steemchurch we should be willing to be taught. We should read messages written and shared at the steemchurch and apply them to our life. We will be helping the church greatly by sticking to the word, becoming doers of the word.

The Apostles and the believers were with one accord and were found in the temples and also at various places of meetings.They had a mutual affections for each other and showed great concern for one another. No one isolated himself or herself from the group and they were always together. Worship the Lord with other brethrens and be part of the various meetings or discussions that take place at venues the church may decide.
Devote Yourself To The Breaking of Bread
The believers devoted themselves to observing the Lord's supper and sharing of food with one another. They did this in memory of the death of Jesus Christ. They all were not ashamed to practice this rites but devoted themselves to it. As a member of the steemchurch you need to also consider the needs of others by helping them in every way you can. A little kindness from you to another parishioner is what builds up the church.

The early believers couldn't do away with prayer, it was a necessity for survival. Whenever you go on your knees to pray never forget the #Steemchurch. Pray for our leader @sirknight, the #Apostles and every memeber in Nigeria, Ghana, Venezuela , Philippines and in the rest of the world.
May the Lord continue to give us grace
Personally am committed to visiting at least 25 #steemchurch posts each day to comment and share ideas on their posts and as well drop my tiny upvote. When my VP goes down, a resteem is my way of showing love. A indeed enjoying myself with the knowledge I glean each day from those posts.
We all need to show our devotion to grow the @steemchurch communities - @sc-v @sc-g @sc-n @farms.

God has really blessed us in this community through the vision and effort of @sirknight.
We are to devote ourselves in spreading the good news to the world while impacting lives through our content and deed outside the blockchain.
Commitment to breaking of bread can also mean sharing fellowships, oneness, love showing sincere concern and helping each other in time of need, and commitments to prayer, caps it all.

Amen. I agree with @bigssam, the apostles doctrine must be preached. I always urge people to let salvation be their main writing Topic so that more souls will be won for God's kingdom

The early church had a renewed mind, heart and body to do the will of God and to fellowship with Him. I cannot say same for the modern day Christians. But one thing I know is that, God knows His own. Hallelujah

Interesting message Nothing better than going back to the old ways and imitating the disciples of the early church. It is amazing how they dedicated themselves to the teaching of the word, to share the bread, to the prayer and it is important to remember that they sold their goods and properties and took it to the feet of the apostles who administered everything so that there was no need in the church . The number of those who believed was incredible, there was respect and fear of God. We must rescue these values and principles in the current church. Blessings
