You can't take Old Testament verses and apply them to the church. The church didn't exist then. The promises made to Israel don't apply to the church.
Fasting, faith, and prayer isn't a secret weapon to get what you want from God.
Jeremiah 29:13 says this:
(Jeremiah 29:13 NIV) You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
The church has already found God. Israel had deserted God so it isn't the same.
