Peace be unto you steemians.
For the love of God in my heart and the desire to work for the steemchurch, I have decided to unveil this to the children of God on how we can claim our blessings easily from the lord through the right approach

The right approach to Gods gift.
Today, so many of us remain where we are because we feel or think that some things are impossible with God, or we think that some things cannot just happen.

I’d like to get your mind back to the days of Mary Magdalene, when the angel of God appeared at first and pass the information that a virgin shall conceive, it was such a huge impossible thing in the eyes of humans and the theologians. You may want to agree with me on that. But there’s one thing you have to know, when the angel of the lord visited Mary saying,
Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favour with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.'-Luke 1:26-38
Now I want you to see the first approach from Mary.
'How will this be,' Mary asked the angel, 'since I am a virgin?'
The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be barren is in her sixth month. For nothing is impossible with God.' For 'I am the Lord's servant,'Now I believe after the angel must have said this, he was waiting to hear what she had to say. Mary answered. 'May it be to me as you have said.' Then the angel left her. You could see another approach again.
MAY IT BE UNTO ME AS YOU HAVE SAID
* ANGEL VISITS ZECHARIAH

At this time, the angel of the lord has just visited Mary. Zechariah who is already an old man who stood with God regardless of his life without having any kids, God decided to remember him.
While he was going about his daily activities, probably burning incense in the sepulcher as usual, the angel of the lord appeared at the side of the altar. When Zechariah turns around, behold an angel. Do not fear said the angel, the lord has heard thy cry Zechariah and he has chose to bless you with a son(John), who shall prepare the people for the coming of the messiah.
But Zechariah who was already an old man was surprised. Now here comes the response of Zechariah
How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is also long in years.”
Though the angel of the lord did not go back with the blessings he came with, but rather Zechariah was punished. The angel of the lord said, because thou has doubted the promise of the lord God, you shall not speak until the child is born.
Pick out something here
DOUBT
Zechariah was talking out of doubt. He wanted something to hold on. He wanted the angel of God to give him an evidence that this is going to happen.
Zechariah didn’t show humility. And humility is what God needs most.
To conclude this, checking the approach of Mary and Zachariah, there is a lot to learn from this.
Bottom line
Mary was not trying to question if angel Gabriel’s proclamation will happen or was right, she was inquisitive or curious to know how it will happen. Because she’s human and she was confused of how a virgin could have a child. In the other aspect, Zechariah who is a priest is no curious or rather is he asking how it will happen, but rather he wants to know if it will happen. That was his motive he asks for further evidence.
So I’d love to say to us all, to be careful of our approach and attitude to Gods blessings.
We might have been praying for one particular thing, when the time is ripen, all that is needed is the right approach to accept it.
Once again peace be unto you.
God said He came purposely for the sinner's, if we sinned and approached him through prayers he will listen to our prayers and answer us.
Brilliant comment.
Thanks
