But before faith came, we were confined under the law, locked up for that faith that was to be revealed. So the law has been our schoolmaster, to take us to Christ, so that we would be justified by faith. But when the faith comes, we are no longer under a tutor (Galatians 3: 23-25).

Paul continues to show how God used the law in the lives of the Israelites; the phrase: But before the faith came, it refers to the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, before Jesus came to die for our sins and resurrected, the Jews were under the law, the purpose of God in giving the law was to reveal the sinfulness of man; to come to Christ by grace through faith. Now, Paul says: Since Christ came and paid for man's sins there is no longer any need for the law; his part was to take us to Christ.

God gave the law to prepare man to hear and believe the gospel, for you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26), remember that the Judaizers tried to put the Gentiles under the law, Paul He tells the Galatians in verses 23-25 that God originally gave the law to the Jews. He wanted to show them his need for the meal but as Christ already came, the law is no longer needed, but now in verse 26, Paul says that the Christians of Galatia, (being Gentiles) have become adult children of God through the faith in Christ, they are no longer under the law.

For all of you who have been baptized into Christ are clothed with Christ. There is no longer a Jew or a Greek; there is no slave or free; there is neither male nor female; because you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3: 27-28)

The moment we believe that Christ died and paid on the Cross for our sins, the Holy Spirit puts us in Christ and we become co-heirs with Jesus.

Christ fulfilled the law and is at the right hand of God; He is not under the law, it is also the same for the believers. We are all in Christ and free from the law; it does not matter the nationality, the social condition or the gender.

it is indeed a great privilege to be called sons of God and be joint-heirs with Christ Jesus. The grace of God has made this possible... glory be to God for His son Jesus
