The poor children - don't ignore them.
I didn't intend to continue on my last post about the poor but, I'm being led to write more about this subject matter.
Just a reminder:
*Until you help the poor, you have not separated yourself from the poor. ~ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Today is children's day all over the world. It's a great day for children all over the world. As of now, Many children, adolescents and youths will probably be in a park or somewhere enjoying the frenzies that today brings while some others (the poor and less privileged) would probably be somewhere wallowing in the emotional colts that penury has brought them.
Every child is your child
Do we have a heart for poor children? The street urchins, the beggars, and the less privileged. Remember, these are the most vulnerable in our society?
Many kids, especially in Africa can't boast of three square meals for a day. Some of these are out of school because their parents cannot afford to pay their school fees. Come to think of it, it is not their fault that they were born into penury.
Many a times tears stream down my face when I take a walk through some remote areas and see these kids loitering and scavenging around for money and food.
You may ask, What is the government of Nigeria doing about the poor? The answer to this question isn't far fetched. It's in our hands to do something about the situation, not in the hand of the government alone. Just one act of kindness towards a child can cause a ripple and of course a multiplying effect on the poor kids around us.
Every child is your child
As we celebrate children all over the world today, I'll like to say that we should show one or two acts of kindness to a poor and a less privileged child around you.
Look out for a poor child, just one child and show some kindness to that child. Remember, these are our next generation. You wouldn't want that child that you ignored yesterday be the one that'll haunt your child in the future.
I know a whole lot of good people that have been about these acts of love towards children. Thumbs up to you. I believe we can do much more. The rate and density of poverty in Africa is alarming I must say, and it behoves us to take the bull by the horn and do our best to lift the poor with our kind acts of giving, making life better for them.
What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you
Perhaps you have needs to be met, you have bills to sort out for yourself an immediate family. It can be so challenging for a couple of y'all that are reading this post right now, but, I want to urge you to take your eyes off your needs and meet someone else's need. I know for sure that when you do this, that need of yours shall be met and surpassed

This is a real food for thought for everyone, especially parents, and 'will-soon' parents:
Indeed, the every child is your child.
Expressing love... Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards.
Real food for thought bro!
Indeed every child is your child, and it'll be wise if we do our best not to ignore them.
Thanks for your kind words bro!
Cheers!!
Let's help the most needy and above all if they are children. They have not asked to come into the world and yet here they are. Let's demonstrate humility in our hearts.
Oh yes!!!
Thanks for your contribution
