When we are facing the events in the case of the last plane crash in which most of the team members of the city of Chapecó in Brazil, their companions and the crew of Lamia Corporation, were killed, the right people who did not they were bad to anyone, they can carry out moments of confusion, burn in the streets that have hundreds of criminals living doing all kinds of things that do not happen at all.
There the question may arise
The Bible speaks an honest man who answered Satan in the following way: "Naked I came to this world and naked I will come out of it, be the name of the Lord blessed", that man was Job.
What do these words have to do with a tragedy? Precisely that Job was in the worst tragedy that any man could have experienced and the reason why Satan subjected him to that test was to show that the human being only loves God when things are going well, when he does not allow anything bad in his life; that is, the human being only has faith in God when he avoids the tragedies in our lives. That is the discourse that Satan uses, and in moments like that he wants us to believe that God is unjust.
So, who rules the world? If your boss does everything you ask and goes wherever you send him, who is the boss? Him or you? If God is to do everything we ordered and declare to him, then he would no longer be sovereign.
If we can make nothing bad happen and make everything good happen in our favor, who is God and what role in the world counts? Then could anyone regardless of their conviction make him act in any way.
God is sovereign, and in the midst of his sovereignty he hopes that with gratitude, we can understand the tragedy and even if we are filled with tears we can understand that those who love God, all things help them to good, and what defines His sovereignty is the possibility that things that we want to happen must be asked of him and he who is wise decides whether he does it or not.
If there were no such moments of pain and difficulty, would the human being express as much compassion as when an event of great magnitude occurs? Think of the way in which people move and unify when there is a tragedy.
Is the manifestation of unity, love and kindness the same when there is none? Let's be honest.
The pain, the suffering, the anguish usually make us ask if God is on the plane that is falling, on the car that collides, on the sinking ship. Now let's look at the question from another perspective, let's think about the millions of planes that do not fall, the thousands of cars that do not collide, the boats that do not sink that are the great majority, then in those walks God? if so, for a statistical matter we would have to say that God does much more good than bad.
God has suffered more than all of us together. He had to see the suffering of his own son being lacerated on a cross, in the midst of mockery, suffering, pain and death.
Jesus did not do anything to deserve it and yet he said: "Thy will be done", he asked for the suffering to pass, but he accepted the sovereignty of God. God loves us and is present in the midst of all our tragedies.
I ask God to give peace and comfort to all the families of the earth who at this moment are going through tragic moments, and can understand that God allows all things for the good of his children.
