Before I begin, I want to tell you that we must be careful with our motivation in wanting to know God's will for us.
Although His Word reveals all we need to know, it does not tell us things that, in our ignorance, we can believe (and sometimes believe) that are more important. "Am I going to get married next year? Is this business going to work? What will happen tomorrow?"
Today many spend money on books about what God's will is and how to live it, they go to "prophets" to tell them the future and that is why they make terrible decisions, they are swindled in evangelical congresses where they are promised "revelation" of the will of God ... When His Word already says what His will is for us!
God's will is good, pleasing and perfect (Romans 12: 2) ... but many times it does not seem to be for us.
Knowing the will of God is the highest wisdom. Jesus said: "He who is willing to do the will of God will recognize if my teaching comes from God" (John 7:17).
As the Bible says: "Do not do it only when you are looking at them, as those who want to earn the human favor, but as slaves of Christ, doing with all your heart the will of God" (Ephesians 6: 6).Living in the center of God's will eliminates all the falsehood of religion and puts the seal of true sincerity on our service to God.
