“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” – 2 Timothy 2:2.
Pass on knowledge you have acquired to other people who are ready to learn. “Success without successful succession is a defeated life.” (Archbishop Benson Idahosah). It is selfish on your part not to mentor others. Jesus left and He sent the Holy Spirit to teach us His Ways. In your spiritual life, teach the younger ones in the faith, how you have been able to stay focused.
Teach people what keeps you going in life, how you handle challenges, your secrets to business, academic, financial and marriage success. After every Moses, there must be a Joshua and after every Elijah there must be an Elisha. Do not go to the grave with your wealth of ideas and wisdom.
Everything we receive from God must be imparted into others.
Luke 6:40 (NLT) says, “But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher.” There must always be a successor to continue what you are doing. Freely you have received, freely give (Matthew 10:8). Reproduce yourself in others. The more we teach others, the more God continues to pour into us.
Do not let one or two bad experiences stop you from imparting others. Not all human beings are the same. Even Jesus was betrayed. Experience is not always the best teacher, some have died in the process of experimenting with life. Help others get out of their struggles with your knowledge. Train and teach others. It is God who sees the heart of men and rewards them openly.
