“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron.” – Isaiah 45:2.
Gates are used to fence properties. Gates also give you access or entry. Psalm 24:9 says, “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” The gates of God are for our defence and welfare whiles the gates of the enemy cause destructions and limitations.
Concerning Cyrus, God said to him, “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places” (Isaiah 45:2-3). Evil gate cages destinies which prevent individuals from manifesting their God given potentials.
On the other hand, for our welfare, our godly gates must not be shut so that we will receive the treasures of the land. Isaiah 60:11 (NLT) ~”Your gates will stay open day and night to receive the wealth of many lands.” God has empowered us to break any evil gate holding us back. The power lies in your mouth, send off the fire of the Holy Ghost to destroy every evil surrounding your life.
This exercise can only be possible if your hands are clean, meaning ensure your ways are right before God. Identify any area of concern. The things that holds us back could be gate of sickness, poverty, delay, lack of fruitfulness, disappointment, etc. Engage your prayer altar and demand your goods from the enemy’s camp. Let every evil gate in your life be cut into pieces in Jesus’ name.
