“Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” – Psalm 92:13.
The Psalmist says in Psalm 84:10 ~ “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.” Going to church shows your commitment to God. It also shows your love for God. Again, attending church is one of the covenant practices. Fellowshipping with other believers help us to grow our faith. Being planted in a Bible believing church is key to your nourishment.
Spiritual food is constantly served from the altar to nourish our spirit. We receive instruction, direction, revelation, and impartation. A tree planted by a river is always watered and its leaves stay fresh and green. Plants thrive where there is water. Do not be deceived that you can grow spiritually on your own without going to church.
We sharpen each other as we fellowship together. Continuous fruitfulness can only be possible if we abide in the presence of God. Psalm 92:13-14 says, “Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing.”
No one goes to the house of God and returns home the same (only when you are not expectant). Every aspect of a church service ministers to someone. A man’s faith was activated to receive his healing whiles listening to Paul preach. (Acts 14:8-9). See church as your covenant time with God. God honours those who are committed to Him. Be planted in God’s house to flourish all round.
