Abraham was a man who devoted his life time serving God and has a deep respect for God. Abraham showed thr world today what it means to trust God even when you dont understand what he's doing. In the bible, the Lors God ask us to tdust him even when we don't understand what he's doing, cause hes ways are not our ways.

Abraham built a relationship with God, and even when put to test, Abraham showed God that, no matter the consequences, as long it happens to be what concern God, he's always going to obey, even before thinking.

GOD TESTED ABRAHAM

Abraham had a son, called Isaac, isaac was God's gift to Abraham after so many years of being without a child. But out of the blue, God decided to test Abraham. Just as Issac was still growing up and been Abraham only child, God ask Abraham to sacrifice issac as a burnt offering to him. Without a single doubt about what God has asked for, Abraham, carried issac and headed to the mountain for the sacrifice, God saw that Abraham, was a man of obedient when it comes to him (God), and so God, stopped Abraham and gave him something else.

God testimg Abraham with his only son shows that, even in the most critical moment of your life, things might seem to be going in a terrible way, but your trust in God is the most important at moment like that.

Abraham never even question God for one single moment after the command, shows that, no matter what you have, God comes first, nothing in the world come first, just God, and obedient to his words.

Genesis 22

22 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”
“Here I am,” he replied.
2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

Abraham also showed us what it means to have a good relationship with God. Before God destroyed sodom and Gomorrah, he went to Abraham in human form, along with two angels, ans told Abraham about his mission to destroy the city, But because of the relationship God had with Abraham, Abraham pleades for God to spare at least 50 people from the city, but unfortunately, there was not even 10 who was righteous in thw sight of God, but through the pleadimg with God, Abraham was able to save the life of his brother lot and hi brothers children

The kind of relationship God had with Abraham is very rare these days, cause regardless of what Abraham was asked to do, he never questioned God's request.

In Genesis 12, God asked Abraham to leave his country and family and go to where he would show him, without a single question or disobedience, Abraham moved, with his brother lot, and God never left Abraham.

Genesis 12

12 God told Abram: “Leave your country, your family, and your father’s home for a land that I will show you. 2-3 I’ll make you a great nation and bless you.I’ll make you famous; you’ll be a blessing. I’ll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I’ll curse. All the families of the Earth will be blessed through you.” 4-6 So Abram left just as God said, and Lot left with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran. Abram took his wife Sarai and his nephew Lot with him, along with all the possessions and people they had gotten in Haran, and set out for the land of Canaan and arrived safe and sound. Abram passed through the country as far as Shechem and the Oak of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites occupied the land. 7 God appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your children.” Abram built an altar at the place God had appeared to him.
8 He moved on from there to the hill country east of Bethel and pitched his tent between Bethel to the west and Ai to the east. He built an altar there and prayed to God.

LESSON FROM THE LIFE OF ABRAHAM

We should try to build a type of relationship, where even in test, we are able to prove to God that, he's the most important in our life.

Most times when God asks us to do something, we tend to question God and want to know why would God ask for such a request. Also must times when bad things happens to us, we should learn to trust God first, becaus that was what Abraham did. Even in the eye of loosing the only child he has after many years of sarahs barrenness, but still Abraham obeyed, and with such obedient spirit, God blessed Abraham so much and even told him, his dependant would fill the earth and it came to pass.

Build your faith in Christ, that when something is asked of you by God, you'll be able to get the task done without a single disobedience.

Abraham, like every other human, has his own bad times, where he showed that he's human and not above mistakes. When Sarah was still unable to have a child, sarah suggested Abraham sleeps with a maid so they could have a child, and Abraham accepted. God knows that humans are not perfect and so are bound to make mistakes or wrongs. So as long as you're willing to right your wrongs, God is always there to clean you and make you whole again in his blood on the cross.

Finally I'd like to draw a conclusion that, faith in God has no limit and we should learn to grow with faith in God, and never have the spirit to question God's orders.

God bless you for reading.

There is so much we can learn from Abraham. His faith is outstanding. His faith was built on a solid foundation that is why it was not easily shaken when faced tests. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your contribution.

Since Abraham’s faith is so often mentioned in the Bible, there are many lessons we can learn. First of all, Abraham was justified by faith. God has ordained that all should be justified by faith. That means we are declared blameless in His sight by the blood of the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ and by faith in God.

Abraham was a faithful servant of God and he so much trust in the lord that when God ask for isaac as a sacrifice,he did not hesitate.we shouldnt question God.

Most times when God asks us to do something, we tend to question God and want to know why would God ask for such a request.

What I learnt from this story was a great deal of trust existed between Abraham and God. Another thing was how Abraham possessed every form of righteousness in him even though he wasn't a Christian. He knew God would compensate him for any loss. He was just a man who loved and trusted God. We should always trust him at all times for he is the only true way

It was never a mistake that he was given the name ;
father of faith
He showed good example as the father of all nation by God willing to accept the condition given to him by God to sacrifice his only son.

I have always highlighted on the importance of faith to Christan life.
Christ has made us whole in all our doing and he has always been standing for us in all our situation . he never gives up to those who makes him his friend and also have faith in him
For you shall be face with a lot of evil but with him no weapon fashioned against you shaall prosper , your enemies shall always be afraid of you because of christ In you.

Faith saved Job when the devil desided to take everything from him.
God in his infinity mercy has always be there for us for those who always have faith in him always. I know that sometimes when things goes the other way we tends to loose that trust we have in him and some times mock him.
Put all your faith in him and expect his glorious bessings

We should be full of faith just like father Abraham.
That's what pleases God: our faith
Thanks

There is no question that many life lessons can be derived from Abraham. From understanding the blessing of simple obedience to his undying faith in a higher heavenly presence, Abraham shows Christians how we can live a more Godly life. His life is a testimonial to God’s grace and reinforces our faith that God will forgive us for our sins and guide us down the path we were meant to follow.
