This made me smile remembering a story I've read before. Indeed, Jesus is our lawyer. And as our lawyer, He has already done everything that needs to be done to atone for the mistakes that we've done. He's done far and beyond that, which is why our salvation/acquittal is secured in Him. That's just how awesome our lawyer is. :3
