The word of God is alive and effective and today we see how it is being fulfilled, there are many biblical texts that warn us that false prophets and strange doctrines will come. Then, the word of God must cause us to worry that none of our children will be lost forever.

• 1 Timothy 4: 1

But the Spirit clearly says that in the latter times some will apostatize from the faith, listening to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons;

If we want our children not to be lost by being deceived, we have to dedicate time to instruct them in the sacred scriptures.
We can not afford to neglect this, there is a promise in the bible for those who care about the salvation of their children:

• Proverbs 22: 6

"HE INTRUDES THE CHILD ON HIS WAY AND EVEN WHEN HE GOES OLD, HE DOES NOT STAND OUT OF HIM"

You have to take time to instruct them. That time will never be lost. Keep in mind that it is not enough to take them to worship, it is not enough to forbid them to sin against God, it is not enough to teach them hymns and choirs that praise God, yet, it is not enough to take them every Sunday to Sunday School, because no matter how spiritual they are the teachers God gave us the teaching of our children. There is a part that you must do. Do your part! Do not neglect Of everything you have. Your profession, your house, car, clothes, children, etc.

Your son is the only thing you can take to heaven with you. The others will have to leave everything!

The bible speaks of women who took care of dedicating their children to God, of instructing them and the result was that their children were always God fearing and dedicated themselves to serve him in the ministry.

• 1 Samuel 1: 26-28

Ana said: "My lord, as true as you live, I swear to you that I am the woman who was here by his side praying to the LORD. This is the child that I asked of the LORD, and he granted it to me. Now I, for my part, give it to the LORD. As long as the child lives, he will be dedicated to him. " Then Eli [a] prostrated himself there before the LORD.

Ana dedicated her son Samuel to God, and he became the judge and prophet of the people of Israel.

The children are a gift from God, they must learn from God at home, I know that the instruction of the children is not exclusively the responsibility of the mother. This is the task of both the father and the mother. Moreover, it is the father who will give accounts to God for the family.

But it is very possible that Papa has other things to take care of or simply tends to neglect this important task. If so, let's not allow our children to perish for lack of knowledge of God with a simple and plain excuse: let's teach them the word of God be it Dad or not be!

But ... What will we teach him from the Scripture? Children like Bible stories and because of that, they are stories that they are taught. But although the stories are good, we are going to DOCTRINE our children. It seems a little difficult to talk about doctrines for children.
