First of all, what is forgiveness?

Forgiveness is the act of letting go of an offence been committed by someone else to you.

Why should we forgive?

Forgiving someone makes us be at peace with ourselves, it makes our mind free from anger and hatred..

We all know the story of Jacob and E'sau, how Jacob stole the blessing that their father Isaac wanted to give to E'sau. According to the Bible, Jacob ran for his life because he was afraid his brother was going to kill him for what he did. Many years later Jacob decided to come back home and when he did, the Bible said he bowed on the ground seven times in front of his brother, a sign asking for forgiveness and according to the Bible, E'sau ran to his brother, embraced him and they both wept. If you read further you will see that E'sau asked Jacob to return the gifts Jacob brought to him, and that he had forgiven him.

My final words here would be There's nothing more soothing than forgiveness because if you forgive someone who offends you, God Almighty will forgive you of your sins.

I will like to say God bless you @sniffsnscurry for supporting we the members of @steemchurch.. Remain blessed.
