1 Peter 5:5 ”Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.”

1 peter 5:5 shows us that through humility, we can connect to the grace of God. Now if humility connects to the grace of God, then pride disconnects from grace. Psalms 138:6 says ”Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. ”What is pride? It is an attitude that says ”I don't need anything; I don't need anyone; I don't need any counsel from anyone; I am self-sufficient: I can do all things all by myself” It says ”I don't want to know anymore than I already know.” Pride says ”Who is speaking? Can he be a blessing to me?” ”What does he know that I don't know?” It says ”I can't stoop low to serve anyone.”

Beloved, you can only do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Pride never seeks help from anyone; it always look to itself and itself alone. Pride cannot sustain itself, but is puffed up in and by itself that it can. Pride is deceptive and deceitful. On the contrary, the humble person is a hungry person; this is why more grace will be given to him. Humility says ”I want to learn some more.” Beloved, if you think you don't need to know anymore, then the best you can know is what you already know, and before long, you will discover that even what you know is beginning to slip from you. Humility attracts grace. ‘

The Bible tells us that the younger should submit to the elder, and that everyone should submit to one another, and be clothed with humility. Why? God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. God only gives grace to the humble, but disgrace will come to the proud. lf you humble yourself before God, He will lift you up; but if you exalt yourself in pride, He Will demote you. Therefore walk in humility all the days of your life. Seek God with the whole of your heart. Humble yourself under His mighty hand, and in due season He will lift you up. Grace will abound unto the humble from the Lord, but the proud will slump suddenly in a fall. God gives grace to the humble. Nobody wants God to resist him, right? Who can ever succeed in life with God resisting him? None, no not one! Therefore stay humble and keep rising by grace

Humility is gold these days. Many people want to be looked up to. As SteemChurch parishioners we should be different from the proud people.

We should be humble when we approach God and extend this humility to others we meet. This will show we recognize that we are nothing without Him. But even more, no good work of ours, not even the slightest salutary act, can happen without the grace of God. Thanks for sharing.

You honour and adoration to the lord will always bring his blessings close to you and will always make him to be available for you all the time of your life

We ought to be unassuming when we approach God and stretch out this modesty to others we meet. This will indicate we perceive that we are nothing without Him. In any case, much more, no great work of our own, not by any means the smallest helpful act, can occur without the finesse of God. A debt of gratitude is in order for sharing.

We ought to be modest when we approach God and stretch out this modesty to others we meet.

So the answer is no. Gospel humility, grace-based humility, Jesus-exalting humility does not make you gloomy, or timid, or passive. It makes you joyful, and courageous and industrious.
It makes you a servant — like Jesus. Only God can do it. And he does it through Jesus in the gospel. May he work this in us and unleash a tidal wave of service in our church and in the world. Amen.

We should be unassuming when we approach God and extend this unobtrusiveness to others we meet. This will show we see that we are nothing without Him. Regardless, substantially more, no extraordinary work of our own, not by any methods the littlest supportive act, can happen without the artfulness of God. An obligation of appreciation is all together to share.

GOD loves the humble

He who honour and adore God, he said he too will honour and adore him with his blessings and gifts.

We ought to be modest when we approach God and stretch out this modesty to others we meet. This will indicate we perceive that we are nothing without Him. Yet, significantly more, no great work of our own, not by any means the scarcest helpful act, can occur without the finesse of God. Much obliged for sharing.

Lowliness is gold nowadays. Numerous individuals need to be gazed upward to. As SteemChurch parishioners we ought to be unique in relation to the glad individuals.

You respect and reverence to the ruler will continually convey his endowments near you and will dependably make him to be accessible for all of you a great time
