Acts 20:32 "And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
1 Peter 5:10
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.
The Word of God is the Word of His grace and it contains and carries grace to bless and 1 Peter 5:10 tells us that God's grace is sufficient for all. When God speaks, His Word carries and extends His grace to us as we receive it and therefore it is not unlikely that the Word is the source of grace.
Paul commends the elders of the Church at Ephesus to God as seen in Acts 20. The Bible tells us God is able to bless us and to give us an inheritance among all that are sanctified. God‘s grace has the ability to build our faith and when we receive the Word of God in faith, we are built up and we grow in the things of the Spirit. God‘s grace ministers comfort, edification and exhortation to you.
As Christians, we must decide to be a person of grace rather than be a person of the world because a person of grace is of the Word of God.
When we study the Bible daily, interacting with it, meditating upon it, receiving and hearing it and living by the Word then we never lack grace. Grace is given unto us through the ministry of the Word of God's grace. Interaction with the Word makes us treasure our faith and appreciate it better and therefore we begin to treasure every opportunity to receive the Word, for it becomes a thing of opportunity to fellowship with grace.
Proverbs 4:20
My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.
The popular saying goes "Attitude determines Altitude" and the level of grace we receive is made manifest through the altitude of the Word. The Word of God is something that must command thee full attention of Christians and it us life to anyone who finds it. Response to the things of God brings warmth and life and so, we must not despise the moment of receiving it for we are made by the Word.
We, as Christians, are always in need of grace from God. We wouldn't be alive without him. Thanks for sharing.
