INTRODUCTION: As the prophecies of the end time are being fulfilled daily and we are all living witnesses of same today, we should learn how we ought to act concerning the great work that christ has given us and be challenged by His admonition to work while the day of opportunity is much around, "for the night comes when no man can work...." John 9:4

1. PRESSING REASONS FOR WINNING SOULS.
   Soul winning is the all-important job of bringing unsaved people to the saving knowledge of our lord jesus. However, it is one of the most neglected commandments of God by the church today. Yet it is a duty which no believer can neglect without becoming guilty. It is a task which must be done.. (Heb. 2:3-4)

2. REASONS FOR LACKADAISICAL ATTITUDES TOWARDS SOUL WINNING
   Evangelism is every believer's ministry and should not be seen as the exclusive duty of Pastors and church leaders alone. Our commitment to it must be total and wholesome. It must be done everwhere, regularly qith unconditional commitment to methods knowing fully-well that will enable us win souls for the Lord. Today, many find it difficult to preach the gospel because they are not saved or they are compromising their christian stand, discouraged or just negligent.

Conclusion: "Then they said one another, we do not well, this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace" ( 2kings 7:9). Having been challenged by these heart bleeding words, let nothing prevent us from preachingthe gospel. Begin from your neighbourhood, do it in the bus when traveling. Great will be your rewards as you win souls for the lord... Thank you and stay blessed..
