Meanwhile, I'll be talking about the place of the New creation and the need to renew ourselves in the knowledge of God will.
PUT ON THE NEW MAN

Paul wrote to the Colossians, admonishing them on the need to be put on the New man. That is, the old man and the old deeds must be put away.
"But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him... but Christ is all, and in all" Colossians 3:8-11
The Scripture went further to say that if we are risen with Christ, we must seek those things which are above where Christ sits at the right hand of God. The New life demands that we set our eyes on things that are above and our affection shouldn't be on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
This kind of death is one which is described by being "dead to sin". And since we've risen with Him, we are alive with Him in righteousness.
The fruits of the flesh are malice, anger, wrath, filthy communication, envy etc the describes the deeds of the old man. But the deed of the New man is that of God, for the fruits of the Spirit are joy, peace, gentleness, meekness etc.
WE ARE NEW CREATURES IN CHRIST

The book of Corinthians explains in a clearer way what being a New creature entails. How God in His love has brought us in this Fullness of life through His blood that we may be made righteous.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
Therefore, since He has died for us, we must live like those whom He sacrificed His life for. Consumed by His love, we must learn to be obedient to His voice and consolidate to His Word. That is, we should live not unto ourselves, but unto Him which died for us, and rose again. For now we have been brought into light (unlike when we were lost in the world; in darkness).

Hence, as new creatures, our perception of things changes; the way we interpret things changes; the way we speak too changes because the eyes of our understanding has been enlightened. We no longer talk like the world because we are not of the world, rather we do things like God who is our Father.
We act the same way He acts; we speak the way He speaks; we feel the same way He feels. As people of light, everything about us becomes different. Our speech becomes seasoned with grace. Our mind is renewed by His Word. Our path is that of light. And the eyes of our understanding becomes enlightened. For these are elements of the new creation.
In summary, if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit, being rooted and grounded in Christ, for in this, we radiate the glory of the new creation as children of God.

OSNow that we are in Christ and are new creations we should stand out and the let the world know the change that has taken place. We can't just live anyhow but we should to stick to the word, prayer and fasting to ensure a continual renewal of our mind and to grow spiritually. If that happens sin has no place in our lives. At salvation, there is a renew of Soul and Spirit that will start reflecting in the physical because of the power that raised us up with Christ.
The grace to live like a new man that is reborn through Christ is now released upon our lives and the Spirit of God now helped us to live with ease those things that seems difficult with natural being.
We now wear a new garmet of deed, relationships, character and worship.
We are now new being, old things have been burried with Christ.
Behold, old things are past away.
And all things have become new.
As good Christians and children of God, we have to put away old things that are sinful, like smoking, drinking, fighting, fornication, lies, and so more, and have to live a Christ like life.
Old character, old self, old attitude, old lifestyle, how to relate to people. The time you devote to God, the things you invest your time on. That is the change I believe @gracehills was talking about.
Need I add that you can only achieve this with the willingness to let go of old self and the eternal grace of overcoming the past? Truth is, we all need grace when it comes to abandoning a habit. But with God, all things are possible
The marvel of man’s bodily appearance is not at all to be excepted from the realm of God’s image. This was the original notion, and we have no reason to suppose that it completely gave way, in P’s theological reflection, to a spiritualizing and intellectualizing tendency. Therefore, one will do well to split the physical from the spiritual as little as possible: the whole man is created in God’s image.
That God’s image in man may go beyond the physical is not ruled out, but it may turn out that the Genesis writer intends to give us no information in that regard.
your life should always be directed towards his ways and toward the right parts which he has stipulated for you.
His power has always be manifested upon those who trust and worship him in truth and in spirit and ready to give him all the honour.
You don't have to be very busy chasing what is on the earth and leave the things of the father who is the living God.
You will not serve God without giving God your precious time and sacrifice.
Things may seems so hard and not going the way you planned it but always remember that the lord loves you as his child every time and always care about you any time you come to him in prayer
Give your self a real definition and what you want people to think if you.
It is our prayer for Christ to be with us in All we do and when will dwell in his presence .

We should have the courage to glorify him and worship him in truth and in spirit always
When a man is reborn in the part of Christ, he will always meet positive ends, because all old things that are both bad and negative will pass away.

Our Christian life is negligible in the event that we continue putting on the old man, for the old man dependably react to sin.let all put on the new man by tolerating Jesus Christ

Glory be to God that redeemed us thorough Christ Jesus in order to destroy our old and sinful being.
We are redeemed and we need to live like a Redeemer by not going back to our old lifestyle but rather live to glorify God

Our new being begins at salvation.
Our life before salvation is one journey and our life after salvation is another journey.
The former leads to death why the former leads to life and peace.
We just have to maintain our stand after salvation and give away all old lifestyle and put on the new life through rebirth in Christ.

Therefore as we appreciate and know the goodness of this good news our new selves are being renewed to look like Him – the compassionate and humble God.
For a glorious life, put off your old nature which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new nature, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Paul’s discussions of the new man and old man give us great insight into what it means to be created in the image and likeness of God ( Ephesians 4:24 ; Colossians 3:10 ). It is an image that bears the righteousness and holiness of God. When Scripture describes all of God’s attributes, it is in the context of God being the perfection of such attributes. For example, God is love, and God’s love is perfect. Humanity shares many of God’s attributes, and we were originally created to reflect God’s perfect character in righteousness and holiness.
Christ came so we can have abundant life eternally.
