GOD IS INFINITELY GREAT

Nebuchadnezzar was a great Babylonian king. His greatness and the power he wielded was acknowledged and accepted within the length and breadth of ancient Babylonian empire.

Nebuchadnezzar had an experience that made him acknowledge the greatness and might of God saying" His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and his dominion is from generation to generation" (Dan 4:3).

You have heard of historic names that have the word 'Great' attached to them like Alexander the Great. But you discover that there are dates of birth and death added. That means they had beginnings and ends. Their greatness had high and low points. For them, greatness has same limits known with all things human.

There is no greatness to be compared to God's. He is infinite, unending and everlasting. The psalmist wrote, Great is our Lord, and of great power, His understanding is infinitely great, so that you can be strongly persuaded in your faith. Like Paul, you will say ----- Nevertheless i am not ashamed, for i know whom i have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which i have committed unto him against that day" (2 Tim. 1:12).
