This scripture shows that dominion is our birthright. We were created, amongst other things, to dominate. Therefore, we are not to be under any oppression ps:8:4-6. As children of God, we are seated with Christ above principalities, sickness, failure, poverty, death, sin. Eph 2:4-6, Eph 1:21.

Areas that we should exhibit dominion
A. Sickness:: Jesus had dominion over sickness, and if we are seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places, we should have dominion over sickness. Is 53:4, 1pet 2:24. Our healing has been perfected, so we should live in divine health
B. Death: It was not the spear, sword nor nails that killed Jesus, he himself laid down his life. John 10:17-18, 1cor 15:54-55,57. Therefore, you should have dominion over death. Death, for a child of God, is an entrance into eternal life. No untimely Death should cut you short.
C. Failure: Of the 33 years Jesus spent on earth, he spent on three in ministry. Yet he fulfilled destiny and made impact. Jesus met peter while fishing, and turned Peter's activity from futility into productivity. Jesus is above failure.
D. Poverty: Jesus was n ber financially stranded 2cor 8:9 . At a point, he paid his tax with coin from the mouth of a fish, feed 5,000 men, and another 7,000 men, without counting women and children.
E. Sin: Jesus was sinless, stainless and pure. John 14:30. He had dominion over sin. Those born of God do not practice sin, and dominion over sin 1john 3:9. The grace we have received is not a license to sin, an inner power to say no at a face of temptation. Rom 6:14.
If you have not given your life to Christ, you are not under God, His grace, and covering for capacity to dominate. Until you come to the foot of the cross, and acknowledge your status as a sinner, you cannot have access to a life of dominion.

No, almost everything here is false. We don't have dominion over any of those things.
Jesus had power over life and death, sickness and disease. We don't. We still get sick. We can die young and so can our children.
Jesus never sinned. Those of us who are saved still sin.
(1 John 1:9-10 NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. {10} If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.
(1 John 2:1-2 NIV) My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. {2} He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
Well it your opinion and I respect it. But as a child of God you have dominion over everything have said in this post, because as a child of God sickness is not your portion neither poverty is. Listen to men of God and they will tell you they have never fall sick before. You can't serve God diligently and have problems. Temptation come and go.
