what you sow is what you reap

Galatian 6.7

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Divine law dictates that we must give something if we want totake anything. Our lives are ruled by divine laws and the successes we make of them are determined by our respect for these principles. The more we understand the principles of God that guides our existence, the better we'll make good use of them. Any attempt to neglect them is detrimental to our well-being in all aspects of growth; remember, our disregard of them does not make the laws of God ineffective. The law of Sowing and Reaping says, “Whatever you sow is what you will reap.” There are many things which represent seeds that can be sown namely; words, thoughts, action, time, money, joy etc.

The power of a planted seed can be seen in the fact that one can count the number of seeds in a fruit but no one can count the number fruits in a seed.

What you sow into your own life or someone's life, no matter how small will surely multiply according to the law of nature. The quality and quantity of the planted seed determines the quality and quantity of the harvest. We need to sow seeds because it is only what is sown that lives; what we refuse to sow will not produce harvest. Unfortunately, majority of people in the society love to reap where they did not sow which creates disorderliness and the negative values around us. However, the best people love to sow and never feel comfortable to reap where they did not sow. The seed we plant today becomes a tree that bears fruits tomorrow, for example, when every opportunity is used to show people that we really care in words and deeds, seeds are being planted that will bring fruits tomorrow.

Prayer: Lord, help me to sow good things into my life and people's life, in Jesus name. Amen
