According to the Cancer Statistics Center it's been projected that a total of 1,735,350 new cancer cases and 609,640 deaths from cancer are likely to occur in the US this year, 2018. And without a doubt, across the globe one of the most dreaded illnesses is cancer, and the news of its detection can almost kill quickly it's victims before its progressive destructive power starts manifesting.
Well, in this piece we shall be taking a close look at "7 Things To Abstain From That Kill Real Quick Than Cancer", which some of us barely know. It's my desire that you'll be blessed by this write-up.
1. A proud look
Being proud is simply overestimating yourself and underestimating others, which usually makes a person treat others with gross disdain.
2. A lying tongue
When a person has a lying tongue, he or she lies naturally at every slight opportunity that pops up.
3. Murder-- hands that shed innocent blood.
Sadly, in our world today there are those who will certainly kill for money, fame, or power-- and essentially, as a result of greed.
4. An heart that devises wick imaginations.
This refers to the personality whose heart 'enjoys' manufacturing evil.
5. Feet that is swift in running to mischief
6. False-witnessing
This has to do with speaking lies or fabricating scenes that never occurred just to ensure that someone else is being victimised and then, nailed to cross under a law.
7. Sowing discord among brethren.
Scriptural reference: Proverbs 6:16-19
Now, you may want to ask, how do all these kill faster than cancer?
The answer is very plain, though may not be medically correct. However, spiritually, and as Christians, it's nothing less than a truth.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23(NIV)
Cancer attacks the flesh, but all these things aforementioned, kill the soul of a man.
Or which do you think is more weightier?
Remedy
God is a gracious Father, and the only escape out of these deadly things is to submit ourselves to Him, as believers-- even as we configure our minds perpetually to Him-- and His word.
1 Peter 5:5-6 states:
In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Thanks for reading.
