I couldn't agree more to this:

We like the anointed; He likes the "anointers"

Christ desires those who will "anoint" Him with true worship from a sincere heart. Also, bringing the expression above to our world today, many crave for the anointing of God and not necessarily for the knowledge and will of the giver of the anointing; God. In other words, many at times, seek for the blessings and not the source of the blessings. This is a flawed motive.
