Yes, God does not only want to give us His power, He wants to give Himself to us, if only we allow Him. He truly wants us to experience Him personally, and to act in line with His will, as we influence our sphere (where He put us, be Nigeria, America, Lagos, or the case may be) with His marvellous light.

Considering the story of Samson, from which you've given us great insight for living... Samson was given such a supernatural power that the Philistines could not fathom, because he needed to use it to help his people I.e. to solve a problem.
