It's hard not to give in to human emotions when we are offended by our fellow humans. It's like a dark cloud that covers our sense of reasoning but the Bible tells us that vengeance belongs to the Lord and this gives room for forgiveness. This is a really good test of Christian life but the grace to forgive only comes from God.
And it is to Him that we must go quickly when we see our hearts filled with hatred and bitterness for our transgressors.
