Only God changes our lament in laughter. God gives us this wonderful power so that Christians experience the continued joy of living in Christ. It is the duty of the Christian. Holiness does not imply a serious face. What Christ did on the cross is a source of joy for the believer, since the pain and suffering of Christ led him to the cross.
