2 Peter 1:20-21
“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
What is a prophetic Word? lt is God's inspired Word documented in the Scriptures that is forever relevant to every time, to every season, to every dispensation and to everyone. The prophetic word is inspired by the Holy Spirit from the written word to meet your 'at the moment’ needs; it is a specific Word for a specific time, and for a specific person which is given by the Holy Spirit from the Scriptures. The prophetic Word comes to meet your needs for the hour. It is a Word from the Lord to you now. It is full of power and grace. It is abundant in power to make itself good. When the Spirit of God moves upon you, prophetic words are released through you.
Our opening verse tells us that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation, and that prophecy came not by the will of man, but that holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Speaking by the move of the Spirit of God on you produces prophecy. When you speak by the inspiration of the Spirit of God, you are releasing prophetic words. That's the Word of power. It has inherent power to bring itself to pass.
Matthew 24:35 tells us that ''Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away''. God's prophetic words will never fail; they will always come to pass. They cannot fall to the ground. Hallelujah! Have you received any prophetic Word from the Lord about your ministry, family, academics, career, business, or about other aspects of your life? Don't lose faith and confidence in the Lord. Don't throw or cast away your confidence in God. The Word will surely come to pass. There is nothing impossible for the prophetic Word; all things are possible to God's prophetic Word. Put that Word in your mouth, and begin to say it with faith and absolute confidence in God, giving thanks to God for His faithfulness and Almighty power to perform His Word. Rejoice, God's prophetic Word will come to pass! Hallelujah!

There are no prophetic words today. They didn't have the Bible. We do.
If someone had a real prophetic word it would be to rebuke sinners in the church and lead them back to Christ. It wouldn't be some vague garbage that so-called prophets spout. It would also feature knowledge of situations that could only come from God. But people like to pretend that they're something when they're not. That's why there are so many so-called prophets today.
