Ezekiel 28: 12-15
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tire, and say to him, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: You are the seal of perfection, full of wisdom, and finished with beauty.
13 In Eden, in the garden of God you were; from every precious stone was your garment; of cornerina, topaz, jasper, chrysolite, beryl and onyx; of sapphire, carbuncle, emerald and gold; the refinements of your tambourines and flutes were prepared for you on the day of your creation.
14 You, great cherub, protector, I put you on the holy mountain of God, there you were; in the midst of the stones of fire you walked.
15 You were perfect in all your ways from the day you were created, until evil was found in you.

Luzbel, the most beautiful angel of the Celestial Court, influenced and led by pride, attributed to himself the amazing gifts with which the Creator had endowed him, rebelled against God, did not accept the supreme command of the Lord.

Luzbel constituted himself in Lucifer, "Satan" ("adversary"), the Enemy, the Devil.

Isaiah: Isaiah: "How you fell from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! You were cut down to the ground, you weakened the nations, You said in your heart: I will go up to heaven, on high, next to the stars of God, I will raise my throne, and I will sit on the mount of testimony, on the sides of the north, I will go up on the heights of the clouds, and be like the Most High, but you are thrown down to the grave, on the sides of the deep.
( Isaiah 14: 12-15)

God had created an amazing angel with many gifts, but Lucifer had an unbridled ego for the tremendous beauty and intelligence he had received and believed that he could supplant God on the throne that governs the universe.

He put against God many angels who joined his rebellion, he tricked Adam and Eve into disobeying God and thus damaging God's initial purpose for humanity.

This rebellion resulted in a battle in heaven where Archangel Michael and the angels who remained in obedience cast out satan and angels opposed to God.

The conclusion of this battle between the good angels and the evil angels is found in the

Apocalypse (12, 7-10): "At that moment a battle began in Heaven: Michael and his Angels fought against the Monster. supported by their angels, but they could not resist, and there was no place for them in Heaven, so they threw the enormous Monster, the ancient Serpent, the Devil or Satan, as they call it, the seducer of the whole world, they cast the earth and its angels with him. "

Satan was filled with envy, pride and vanity that led him to betray his creator, be careful not to let this kind of feelings rest in our hearts and lead us to betray our Lord who has given himself for us.

Saint Peter says: "God did not forgive the angels who sinned, but he shut them up in dark caverns, throwing them into hell" (2a, 2, 4). "There is no repentance for them after the fall, as there is no repentance for human beings after death"
