The parable of the Hidden Treasures teach and illustrates the great value of the Kingdom of Heaven, just as the man in the parable gives up all that he has, in order to lay claim to the greater treasure he has found.

13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls

13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind.

13:48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:44-50

As Christians, brothers and sisters of the @steemchurch we should prefer the Kingdom of heaven to the whole world, and therefore to deny yourselves and all the desires of the flesh, that nothing may prevent them from obtaining so valuable a possession.

good fortune reflected in the "finding" reflects a "special privilege,"and a source of joy, but also reflects a challenge
John Nolland

It pains me dearly that christians all over the world are so captivated by the allurements of the world, that eternal life fades from our view; and in consequence of our carnality, the spiritual graces of God are far from being held by us in the estimation which they deserve.

Conclusion

Just like the treasure hidden in the field, the Gospel comes without cost, and is open to all - but to truly possess heavenly riches, one must be willing to give up the world to buy it.

God bless you brother.
We ought to deny the pleasure of this World for the kingdom of almighty God.
And we rather be an old time Christian than anything else on earth.
SHALOM

Modern age is getting devoid of spiritual endeavors with each passing day because of increasing financial concerns.People are so engrossed in financial considerations that they often lack time to ponder over spiritual aspects of our lives.
But one this is true and it can not be altered that material growth do not ensure the mental peace.

but to truly possess heavenly riches, one must be willing to give up the world to buy it.
One must be willing to abandon all earthly pleasures to obtain heavenly riches.

We battle always with our flesh but we allow our flesh to conquer us.because we don't look beyond what is on this earth ,the nan in the parable understand the value the land holds and so determined to possess it.we on the other hand fail to acknowledge what heaven have in stock for us and is so disheartening.

There is nothing precious in this life than to have access to the Heavenly Kingdom, we have to do everything we can to make it, it's more noble than anything, great piece @abiye

The knowledge a man seek is all in the scriptures, but the reward is our heaven

Yeah @abiye.
The Bible say "seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness".
Many Christians are carried away by the riches in the world that they forget about the true wealth
