RE: Promo-Mentors Partners With Fundition to Show The World What Steem Can Do! #Steemchallenge

in #steemchallenge6 years ago

What can you do with 5 STEEM in a poor country? Let's feed a family , then blog about it on steemit, and then we spend 31 STEEM on @promobot to advertise we are helping and spreading love with 5 STEEM . That's kind of a hypocrite way isn't it ? :)

I'm sorry help me to understand you what is the hypocrisy in this? What is it that contradicts to what we are saying?

It's not about poor or rich, it's about promoting steem by showing what people can do with Steem.
We welcome philanthropy of the participants, but we are not a charity. I hope the message is more clear now. ^^

And btw the @promobot was not payed by promo-mentors or fundition but by the creator of fundition @hightouch from his own pocket which came as a surprise to us and we appreciate it a lot. Giving can be such a beautiful thing don't you agree? :)

''I'm sorry help me to understand you what is the hypocrisy in this? What is it that contradicts to what we are saying?'' --> first of all, you contradict yourself anyway, without me having to point it out. Unrelated to my comment - you say yo want to spread awareness about steem . That is spreading the knowledge that steem exists - which means your target audience is people who don't know what steem and steemit is . Then the thing that you can buy veggies to make a soup doesn't explain how steem and steemit work and thus what they'd represent .

As for the way how @hightouch does his biddings.. i'd say it's rather selfish; as if there are ppl bidding with 1 or 2 steem, he'll just throw in 20 or more steem, rendering everybody on a negative roi . That's ignorance. And if people like this are in such projects like @fundition (which i recently wrote about) then i'm really sorry for steemit's future .

As for this post, that wants to massively spread awareness of Steem on social media, i think there would be required more than 250 words and 2 videos to show the seriosity of the intent, and the efforts willing to be poured in .

Thank you for bringing up this discussion. As we exactly have said it, spreading the knowledge that Steem exists, not how it exactly works. For this we would need long videos, which is not so effective in getting attention of people. Compare it to bitcoin, when you first heard of bitcoin did you know how it worked Mining, PoW, Hash etc.? Out of curiousity people explore, but they have to be made aware of it first.

And we ask people to link to our website where we explain Steem further and in the future we will add more information about Steem or links.

I hope our past and future actions will convince you otherwise. :)

Thank you for the honest comments @viog37 :)
