RUNTIME : 24 minutes
OBJECTIVE : tips for new users of the steemit platform, what i learned in my first months of steemit, full course here.
i realised i’ve learned an awful lot about steemit since april, been through a hard fork, engaged with and followed a bunch of interesting people, seen the highs and the lows, crypto crashing and rising and currently down, it’s only been three months thou and i feel like so more well informed as to what works and what doesn’t here — it’s a bit of a mental shift from blogging to a wordpress blog and it’s really made me consider my posts and the time i spend in general, maybe it’s the community engagement, the up votes or even the money benefits but it’s certainly been a great ride so far.
this is one of my courses from skillshare, i’ve decided to compile all the clips into one long youtube unlisted movie as an experiment, it’s unlisted on youtube just here on the steemit blockchain (for now) and it will be interesting to see what traffic comes in, also google juice and seo
video section guide. . (section links jump in youtube video)
i make most of my courses pretty snackable so you can jump in wherever you see the section link (they jump in time in the video) they mainly last a few minutes each maybe you only need five minutes to get to the information you need.
- 0.0 - introduction to steemit.com
- 1.0 - how i see steemit as a blogging platform
- 1.1 - what works well, how often, what topics
- 1.2 - let’s discuss mass adoption
- 1.3 - speed up things with textexpander
- 1.4 - steem, steem dollars, changing into fiat
- 1.5 - future of micro payments and ideas!
please remember this was a quick fire, under thirty minute course i wanted to put out there as an introduction, i realise i don’t go into detail about a few areas and that’s simply because i don’t fully understand or feel the need to understand some of the elements of the steem blockchain — what i can tell you in the eight months since joining the site is that i’ve met some great people, got some up to date information, cutting edge, had some payouts, invested in other cryptos and opened my eyes to all things that will have a slight tint of crypto to them in the future! :)
big help thanks - i will follow and i appreciate the tips
you are very welcome.
