After a long day of venturing through the lands, you notice the wagon cruising down the pathway ahead of you. People have been speaking of a shifty looking goblin who's been selling wares across the Splinterlands in his traveling wagon, maybe this is the guy.
Intrigued, you flag him down from a distance. The wagon slides in front of you, and as you step closer, you see the wagon shake from side to side as the goblin scurries to the back of the wagon.
What you want chump!? Looking for some hardened fighters for your team?
You nod and step towards the van cautiously.
He points down to a glass cabinet which is situated on the side of the wagon. There are many cards evident, mixtures of rare and epic monsters. Nothing you haven't seen before.
With heavy pockets and not much patience for the wares on show, you shake your head and turn away from the wagon.
The goblin calls out to you as you edge away and tells you to wait a moment. He must have noticed the overloaded pouch on the side of your belt.
Are you looking for something of more value, meatbag?
He calls out from the shadows of the wagon. You hear a loud bang as something drops to the floor, the sound of an old chest echoes through the confines of the wagon.
The tall goblin walks back to the front of the counter and holds out a card in front of you.

BUY NOW: 200 SBD

There's a variety of trinkets on top of the front counter, all marked with varying prices. A battered book to the right of the assortment catches your attention. The cover is torn and the pages look stained.
It is titled... The Traders Tale.

bid 115.0
Bid accepted! Highest bid is now @randolphrope's bid of 115.000 SBD
The #steembay Auction was ended by the seller.
The winning bidder is @randolphrope with an amount of 115.000 SBD - Congratulations!
so this says I won.
It does indeed, @chronocrypto messed up and didn't use "bid 200" not triggering the steembay bot.
But as he intended to "buy now" the card has been sold to him.
My damn apprentice should have alerted him to use "bid 200".
It's so difficult to find good help these days.
Thank you for your reply, themonstertrader. I knew that the "buy it now" was in play: One of the 'growing-problems' of Steembay is not being notified of a correctly ended sale, and I wanted to point this out in the most blatant way that I could.
Congratulation on your sale! I am looking for a price explosion as the market is just now beginning to find "price discovery" for these cards.
Steembay, still has some quirks indeed.
And no worry my apprentice has been
stabbedpunishedcorrected accordingly. How about I console you by pointing you this way
Akox does love his explosions, of every kind. Especially if I am the one that presses the button.
We got another one if you are interested.
Will be ending soon so you can snipe it away for a nice price.

End of #steembay Auction confirmed
Hm, that was less than 72 hours, wasn't it? :)
Akox works fast. Dear Selenia was sold at Buy now price.
'Buy Now' was set as 200 SBD, and he offered 115 ... or am I wrong?
The winner was chronocrypto.
He forgot to use "bid 200"
And my damn apprentice failed to notice. (I'm telling you... help these days...)
But the card went to him.
OK, I see ...
