RE: [SteemBay Auction] Late Night Special: Full Death (Black) Common and Rare Set + Bonus EPIC Card - Only 0.666 STEEM Reserve!

in #steembay6 years ago

Congrats on bidding and winning! Send over the 0.733 Steem and the cards will be sent to the @pizzachain account unless you wish the cards to be sent to another, if so, please include that information in the memo portion of the transfer. Thanks and congrats again!

Found it slightly childish of you, but I’ll act like the adult here and I’ve sent you the Steem now. For the next time, just send them, then I’d send quickly as well.

lol, I can't tell if your comment is for real or not so I guess here is a real reply. Please be aware when you win an auction, whether using @SteemBay or eBay or anywhere really, or if you buy something from a store.. you do have to send payment first before you receive the items.

Your cards will be sent over shortly, I genuinely thanks for sending payment, late or not, it is good to infuse in the blockchain you kept your contract so now I can fulfill my portion by sending the cards over.

Edit: I remember you! This has already happened before and you know how this works https://steemit.com/steembay/@cryplectibles/re-pizzachain-re-cryplectibles-steembay-auction-11-steem-monsters-fire-red-cards-9-commons-2-rares-only-0-1-steem-reserve-20180804t025920344z

You'll get your cards shortly, if you do win another auction please remember this is how this system works, no emotion involved of childnesness excepting calling someone childish lol. Congrats again on bidding and winning!

Delaying the sending of cards only makes misunderstandings and confusion possible and especially magnifies potential delays, which is fairly annoying.

lol, this is so silly. You understand this whole situation is sealed in the blockchain?

Here is from 10 days ago when on top of the @SteemBay system notifying you itself, I also sent a message making you aware that you won the auction and to make payment so you can get your cards right away https://steemd.com/steembay/@cryplectibles/re-pizzachain-re-steembay02-re-pizzachain-re-steembay04-re-pizzachain-re-cryplectibles-steembay-auction-late-night-special-full-death-black-common-and-rare-set-bonus-epic-card-only-0-666-steem-reserve-bid-overbid-bid-overbid-20180823t125050920z

Here is where, a whole 7 days (week) later you finally sent a payment, but only when attached to this negative message https://steemd.com/steembay/@pizzachain/plectibles-re-pizzachain-re-steembay02-re-pizzachain-re-steembay04-re-pizzachain-re-cryplectibles-steembay-auction-late-night-special-full-death-black-common-and-rare-set-bonus-epic-card-only-0-666-steem-reserve-bid-overbid-bid-overbid-20180830t065336017z

I replied to your post, sent the cards right away, there was no delay except for your late payment. I am just genuinely concerned you do not understand how a market works, especially in the case of auctions, where you place bids, and if you win an auction, you make the payment, then you get the item, not the other way around unless indicated by the person running the auction.

No more @SteemBay auctions coming from me just because of the system not really worked out for non or late payment, or you honestly just do not understand the system which is fine, just no need for the negativity on another user because of the lack of that understanding. Either way @pizzachain I genuinely wish you well and also wish you more positive communications than whatever it is you are attempting with your replies here.

Is it @pollux.one who codes this bot? Is there an escrow/hold function on the roadmap to make @SteemBay a more viable working system?

I believe OpenBazaar is still going through the hurdles of what can make a working decentralized auction system:

~~~ embed:d923d2d37f544ea22e6f gist metadata:ZHJ3YXNoby9kOTIzZDJkMzdmNTQ0ZWEyMmU2Zg== ~~~
I did not actually code steembay, but I planned it, and I run it. AND YES there is an escrow planned (and for the steemmonsters already running via discord). Unfortunately we can't do much about unreliable customers.
Also there is much to come up.
That sounds awesome! And interesting Steem Monsters has an escrow system worked out via discord but not on Steemit or SteemMonsters.com wtf!?
I am attempting to be understanding with @pizzachain here and I'll assume this is more a misunderstanding than an unreliable customer (as on steemdb I can see he buys or sells Steem Monster cards in other places just fine it seems). I asked for the payment one time on top of the automated message, meaning the user had two notices to pay. I did not harass or bother the user into paying their debt, I did nothing more and just dropped it. After the week the user sends the silly message, THEN sends payment, edits their message saying as such, and now replies out of the blue for no reason to complain again. I know I just re-wrote what I typed in the other message, it just sucks because I believe in the end the person may just genuinely not understand how buying things works or could just be fun trolling (as I'm confused whey they came back to leave another reply when I sent cards days ago).
