Hmmm.

A mortar (as in mortar and pestle that you might use for grinding spices)

I'm afraid I'm nearing the end of my guesses... Everything else has either already been guessed, is too similar to a previous guess or isn't confined to the kitchen.
I don't suppose you can give us a "warm" or "cold" type rating?

    Haha no mortar and pestle. I may add another jint later in the week but if noonw wins the SBD will roll over.
