Steem Basic Income
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
Many of our members use the #steembasicincome tag for their contests, so check there for contests that we might not have resteemed!
Still Going Strong
We are up to six pools, so your upvotes could come from @steembasicincome, @sbi2, @sbi3, @sbi4, @sbi5, @sbi6, or @sbi7. We currently have 2200 members that have posted within the last 28 days, and many more members that have not. Unfortunately the members that are not posting are not receiving upvotes. There are currently 12743 'shares' in the program, and it grows every day.

All members that upvote consistently are rewarded with a bonus increase in their voting weight. To get the best benefit, we recommend using @steemvoter or @steemauto.
We have been working very hard to be consistent with your updates so that members can achieve close to a full bonus without needing to upvote comments. I'm looking forward to the improvements that will come with full automation!
We have been using some of the fixed-return upvoting services again, and you can see some impact in the chart. It definitely helps boost long-term sustainability, as you can see in our 28-day SP rewards, which are gently up-trending again:

Enrollment
If you want to get involved, or to increase the share of basic income that you receive, enrollment is very straightforward:
any active Steemian, it does not have to be a current member.Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 share in the program. You can sponsor

It seems I forgot to put the @ symbol before I put the user names when I enrolled 4 people yesterday. I just want to make sure they were still enrolled. Thanks
All the enrollments from yesterday I am working on now. I will make sure they are processed correctly and added to our data capture if it did not pick them up with the @ missing.

You cannot sponsor yourself, but sometimes you can find other members that will exchange sponsorship with you.
Can't people multi-account and sponsor their alts?
Yes, that does happen. We don't have any explicit rule against that, so long as the alts are posting original content and not plagiarism.

You should be getting upvotes on every post. I'm not showing any vote fails in that pool, and I do see upvotes on your most recent posts.

No, you don't have to use any tag to get upvotes from steembasicincome.
You have one share in pool 6 (sbi6), this is the account which is upvoting you with 1% upvote weight.
Your posting frequency with 15 posts over the last seven days reduces the weight you get per post. But your posts are over the dust threshold, so you are getting paid out the same per week from steembasicincome.
To get more from the program you just need basically more shares. Either start upvoting posts from @steembasicincome with services like www.steemdunk.xyz or www.steemauto.com to receive bonus shares or sponsor steemians or get sponsored. Simple as that.

Which list are you asking about? You don't have to use our tag to be upvoted, you just need to be enrolled in the program. If you enrolled and did not receive an upvote, it's possible your enrollment had not been processed yet.
