1 Steem and you get a share which provides you a vote for life and the more shares you have the higher the upvote value goes. I've seen some guys already getting 2$ per post with a crazy amount of shares.

No limit? Is there a database that shows how many shares everyone has? If you wanted to reference it for yourself?
I'm not aware of any limits for now and yes there's a lookup tool here
Hey cool. I am the list. I must have joined early on and don't remember. But I have a very small number of shares. I'll have to look into this a little deeper. Thanks!
